  • 110 g Coconut oil melted
  • 200 g Coconut sugar
  • 95 g almonds  ground
  • 50 g cocoa powder natural, unsweetened
  • pinch of salt
  • 50 g dark chocolate 72%
  • 35 g walnuts Halved

What you need to do

  • Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C) and line a 8×8 inch pan (20x20cm) with baking paper.
  • Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan, mix in the sugar and then transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Add in the eggs and whisk until well combined.
  • Next add the ground almonds, cocoa powder, salt and mix well with a whisk.

  • Transfer the brownie batter into the earlier prepared tray, top with the walnuts and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the oven, allow the brownies to cool in their tin for 30 minutes then cut into pieces.
  • Once completely cool, store the brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
