Most people are always after easy and fast fat loss. Be careful what you wish for, because it may not progress as you want it to.
 
A word of warning for those who want to lose weight rapidly. There are a few cons with this, and I’m speaking from a female perspective. This has happened to me many times, although the start of the weight loss journey is always slow. For some people, rapid fat loss begins after you have spent months and months grinding it out on your own without any results.
 

2 things that happen when you lose weight rapidly

  1. You may experience hair thinning of hair loss. Hair loss is mainly the result of deficient iron, but the rapid fat loss can also magnify the hair loss. YOu may start to see your hair thin out, and perhaps fall out. Any one of these things can happen. You will likely notice in the bathroom one day that your hair is not as it used to be when you’re getting ready. Be aware that this is a result of fast fat loss. Thankfully for most of us, it’s not permanent.
  2. You may experience shallow iron levels. Weight loss sometimes brings about some malnourishment, due to the elimination of food groups. Perhaps you aren’t eating enough, or not absorbing your nutrients properly. You can turn this around in no time, but I want you to be aware of this. Dieting can assist in depleting nutrients, and iron is an important nutrient for energy and also wellbeing.

If you choose the longer pathway, you may still experience the above situations, but it will be a lot less magnified. Slower weight loss is with intelligence by altering our eating habits and implementing some exercise. There is usually nothing excessive about this, and cutting out food groups shouldn’t be a weight-loss option (unless it’s refined sugars and flours kind of food group).

Yes, you got that right! Why is fasting the best way. Well, I have been through hundreds of different diets, and no diet has allowed me to look good, feel good and have all the energy, stamina and strength I need to perform at my best daily. I am focused, and tiredness has become a thing of the past.
 
Not only will you lose the weight you want (and possibly more) you will maintain it for life. I don’t know about you, but I have spent years with this as my major problem. Trainers out there will tell you what you have to do to lose the weight, but what about when you have achieved that goal, and now you don’t know where to go with this. What are you supposed to eat and what else is there.
I know the frustration, I have been there many, many times!
 
That’s why fasting is so good because you can change your fasting and feasting hours to whatever is suitable for you, at any given day. Choosing your meals is simple because you aren’t having an abundance of them! There are no 5–6 meals a day! It’s either 1–2 plus a few snacks. That’s it! Save time, money and also your sanity without having to meal prep.
 
Fasting works best with exercise, although it’s not a huge priority. I would recommend you do some form of exercise because it is good for your health and well being after all.
 
What I love about fasting is that it’s so easy. It doesn’t take effort at all, and you can actually have a life not thinking about food all the time! I remember back when I was in bodybuilding, and I was eating 6 meals a day. All I ever did was eat and eat, and I felt terrible and had horrible digestion. I was always hungry and would spend most of my weekends meal prepping like there was no tomorrow. So much meat that I honestly cannot handle to eat now. You don’t need to eat like that to maintain good health, a nice shape and feel good. If you are feeling horrible, then it’s time to re-think your plan and try something else. Give fasting a try.
