Your food choices are the key to optimal health and brainpower potential
I’m sure everyone could use some brain-enhancing nutritional advice. I know I certainly could. We can all suffer from a bout of brain fog, forgetfulness or find it hard to pull together all the needed facts to make a better decision. On the other hand, our job might require us to be quick-witted and find answers in seconds. And to all of you fellow creative bunch that sometimes experience blockages — This one is for you too! Using your brain’s full potential will help you smoothly sail through any challenges & emotional blocks. If you are studying and working full time — nutrition will play a big part in helping to retain that information & keeping you in peak performance. Let’s get into the foods you should eat regularly to help with memory and absorption of information.
Superfood one: Olive oil
Olive oil is not only delicious, but it helps to protect your memory, learning ability and reduces your risk of age-related degenerative diseases. Olive oil contains vitamin E and antioxidants, which help fight off free radicals in the brain and body. Drizzle olive oil on your salads every day, or if you like avocado, mash some and drizzle olive oil with some salt for extra deliciousness. Squeeze some lemon juice on top for an extra antioxidant punch. Tip: Be sure to purchase cold-pressed olive oil as it contains all the health advantages due to its unrefined nature.
Superfood Two: Avocados
Speaking of avocado, they are one of my most prized foods & I eat them daily. I love them because they contain so many healthy fats, which help keep me full all day long. In addition, they help improve blood flow, which is beneficial for our brain health. I discovered a significant bit of research that avocados help us improve our thinking ability! Not bad for something delicious!
Superfood Three: Greens
Leafy greens like kale, collard greens, and spinach contain iron, vitamin C and antioxidants. Every day, just one serving of leafy greens can slow down the cognitive decline that naturally occurs from ageing. What about this idea? Place all your greens together with avocado and olive oil? Would it be adequate to say that you have the best superfood meal option around with these three ingredients combined? Supplement one of your animal-based meals with this alternative and see what kind of changes you experience in terms of your concentration, moods, health and skin. It works wonders. Here’s to your good health moving forward towards 2022!
