Ingredients
  

For the bread

  • 2 cups Warm water
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 4 cups flour organic, white bakers flour
  • Salt Pinch
  • Olive oil Spray

What to do

  • Take your water and add the yeast. Gently wisk to mix
  • Make a well in the bowl with the flour, add the yeast water, some salt and mix
  • This is where you may have to add more flour. Keep doing so and kneed the dough
  • Once the dough is not too sticky, allow it to rest for 1-2 hours in a bowl, covered in a warm place if possible
  • When that's done, strech and sweep using dam fingers
  • Do this a couple of times and then place it in the bread basket. Score the top slightly and sprinkle flour on top
  • Cook in an oven for 45 minutes, either exposed or in a french oven. Take the lid off after 35 minutes to brown the top

Notes

Note: This bread can be made with any kind of flour, and you may add fennel seeds, dried fruit, cinnamon or make it a sweet bread. I prefer it plain, and use this rustic bread to mop up my olive oil or add avocado on tip. It's so delicious!
