Some people find it easy to stop eating when they are full, whilst others tend to keep on going until they feel like a stuffed potato is growing in their abdomen. Give or take, we each have our overindulgent days, and they can cause us a bit of a sidestep when it comes to our weight loss journey. For starters, discipline is rigid, especially coming closer to Christmas and New Year. Then, if you are back at work, there are parties and drinks to attend to after dinner. Of course, that means even more high caloric foods eaten, followed by a line of beautiful cocktails. The night may have been merry, but your stomach is showing signs of something else. To stop this from happening, let’s get into a plan of action — because this isn’t some trick regarding your food, It’s something you need to wear. This may seem a little strange to hear at first, but I bet you’ve used this during your lifetime. Maybe it’s not been the best experience because it was accidental — but it’s not unfamiliar to you.

Pick an item of clothing in your wardrobe that has a tighter waistband. You can put on the waistband, but that gets somewhat more uncomfortable when you eat. When you put these pants or skirts on, they might feel comfy or a little bit tighter than usual. This is what it needs to feel like. Every woman on the planet has this one pair of pants or a skirt of some sort that is tight. With every single fibre of your being, ditch the temptation to wear sweatpants or anything comfortable when you eat. We want you to feel UNCOMFORTABLE when you reach that threshold so it can make you stop. Don’t deny that this isn’t an ingenious idea, and yes, it’s not that pleasant. But, if you have trouble overeating or learning how to stop — then this is the pair of clothing you need to wear EVERYWHERE. Maybe you should get a couple of tighter pants and make them your staple outdoor meal wear. Don’t knock it until you try it — especially when out on a date. You don’t want to feel uncomfortable sitting opposite a hot man. You probably won’t be able to eat anyway from your nerves and excitement. So get out there and try this hack.
