Gut friendly oatmeal
This is my favourite breakfast! I'm taking a break from oats for a while, due to some gut issues. So far, this has proven to be successful in minimising my upset stomach after consuming oats. Why not give it a go too?
Ingredients
What you need
- 2 tbsp Almond meal
- 3 tsp Flaxseeds
- 1 tbsp Paleo nut mix
- 2 tbsp Coconut flour
- 1 tsp Mixed spices
- 1/2 cup Coconut or almond milk
To go with it
- 3 Organic strawberries chopped
- 1 tbsp Coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp Spices
- 2 tbsp Coconut yogurt
Instructions
- Here is what you need to do 1. Mix all the dry ingredients together 2. Add the nut milk and mix. I like to add some water if it's absorbed 3. Turn the heat on your stove (as minimal as possible) and heat slowly and lightly. Flaxseed can go rancid if you overheat it. 4. Put in your bowl with berries, yogurt and more spices if you wish. Enjoy hot or cold
