Frozen Yo-Berry Bites
A frozen berry treat snack with protein rich yogurt. Eat frozen or melt with antioxidant rich berries
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 1 cup Vanilla soy yogurt or vanilla coconut yogurt
- 120g g Frozen pineapple
- 75 g Frozen mixed berries
- 200 g Fresh mixed berries
Instructions
What you need to do
- Pour the soy or coconut yogurt into a blender with the frozen pineapple and frozen mixed berries.
- Blend until smooth and pour into an ice cube tray, filling each ice cube mould to the top.
- Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for 6 hours.
- To serve, remove the yogurt ice cubes and place them into two large glasses or a bowl layered with ½ cup fresh berries per glass.
- Allow to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to warm up yogurt bites before serving.
Notes
Tip: To increase protein add in 2 tablespoons of protein powder.
